Coronavirus Advice from SCSC

SCSC Open as Normal
Coronavirus - Covid-19 Advice

To all our members,

At present the Club will remain open as normal.  We are monitoring the situation and following the recommended guidance from the UK Government - https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response.  We recommend to all our members and users of the Club to follow the same advice.

We are in the process of getting hand sanitising gel for the social areas of the Club, and we do have hand washing facilities in the toilets and changing rooms.

At this stage, the Club activities will carry on as normal.  It is important that everybody follows the Government’s advice on personal hygiene, which everybody should be familiar with.

Please do not attend the club if you feel unwell.

Thank you for your patience and we will inform you of any changes at the Club and its facilities, including court hire bookings.

Kind Regards,
South Croydon Sports Club

We also advise that members do not shake hands after games. This has been observed at the All England whereby the players are bowing to the umpires instead.

Shaking hands, before or after a match, remains a matter of personal choice, but please do not be offended if your opponent chooses not to.
