Team Competition and Club Tournaments

Teams

We field six men’s teams, two ladies’ teams and two mixed teams in the Surrey league. The Men’s 1st to 4th teams compete in Surrey divisions 5-13. We have dedicated team practice evenings for a number of the teams:

Wednesday 6pm for the Men’s 1st to 4th teams

Thursday 6pm for the Men’s 5th and 6th teams and the ladies’ teams

Players should enquire with the committee about joining the teams or squads

Tournaments

The annual club tournament features men's and women's singles, doubles, mixed doubles and junior singles. This is usually a knockout draw with consolation stages. This runs from the end of April with the finals’ day taking place in July.

The annual club Autumn tournament starts in August with the finals’ day held in October. The entry categories include open singles, open doubles and mixed doubles, with the format usually consisting of a box league for the first stage.
We also run one-day fun events during the year, often raising funds for local charitable causes.
